The Milwaukee Bucks’ Great Defensive Experiment Has Ended

If the Milwaukee Bucks played a standard NBA defense, Jason Kidd would probably still have a job. The team is on a three-game winning streak since Kidd was fired and the team played better defense over the weekend. Kidd’s Bucks committed an act of science. His hypothesis seemed to be that an athletic roster that forces turnovers and extra passes will lead invariably to a top defense. However, not achieving those goals meant giving opponents a clear run at the rim on practically every possession.
