Oregon Ducks G Tyler Dorsey declares for NBA Draft
Oregon sophomore guard Tyler Dorsey, who was the Ducks’ leading scorer in the postseason, will declare for the 2017 NBA Draft and sign with an agent, he announced on Monday night.
The 6-foot-4 Dorsey averaged 14.6 points and hit 42.3 percent of his 3-pointers for the season, but he was particularly productive in the postseason, helping Oregon reach the Final Four.
In Oregon’s five NCAA Tournament games, he averaged 23.8 points while making 59.7 percent of his field-goal attempts and 60.6 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. He scored at least 21 points in each of the five games.
Dorsey is not listed among the top 100 NBA prospects by NBADraft.net.
